How it Works
The Basics
Clean Flame (Patent Pending) is a complete mini-split heat pump system which includes a Fujitsu mini-split heat pump integrated within a facade to create the appearance of a fireplace. With several patent pending components, the facade attaches to a slim duct indoor unit which transfers heat to an outdoor unit - this is a traditional mini-split configuration which does not require any duct work. It uses electricity to power a variable speed compressor that is designed to run continuously consuming very little power. The benefit of a variable speed compressor is that it allows for smooth, efficient, and quiet operation and eliminates the ON/OFF cycling of traditional air conditioning and heat pump systems.
Versatility
Clean Flame can be installed in a new build or retrofit, as a stand alone system or as part of a multi-zone system. It’s available in three heating/cooling capacities to serve both large and small spaces. With a floor level indoor unit, it can be installed on an interior or exterior wall. The real stone surround is available in over 70 different decors - the aesthetic possibilities are endless!

Air Purification
People spend approximately 90% of their time indoors and it’s vitally important to breathe clean air. With tighter sealed homes, the growing use of synthetic materials, unhealthy bi-products of cooking and cleaning, pets and increased outdoor air pollution, residential indoor air quality is often very poor. It would be a shame to place any HVAC system in a home without also thinking about air filtration! We have designed Clean Flame with a MERV 13 filter to remove the smallest particles which pose the greatest risk to health.
